A Tourtalk command training system is a portable wireless audio system that is used to enable a trainer to be heard clearly in a noisy environment or over distance.

A kite display team flies steerable kites in aerial patterns, to music. To make sure every member of the team knows what pattern needs to be flown next, and to ensure there is synchrony, the team leader calls out commands, to which the rest of the team reacts.

‘It works an absolute treat! Commands can be heard crisp and clear, and even in 20+mph winds……’

The team leader uses a headset microphone and mp3 player connected to a small transmitter. The instructions and music are then transmitted to the team members with a range of up to 120m. The team members use an earphone connected to a small receiver to hear the transmission.
