Cawleys have purchased a Tourtalk tour guide system for visitor tours of their Materials Recycling Facility (MRF).
Visitors are able to see machinery at work, discovering first-hand how the waste is sorted, and the journey it goes on to be recycled and take on ‘second life’ uses.
The tour guide wears a headband microphone connected to a wireless Tourtalk transmitter.
Each visitor is issued with a wireless Tourtalk receiver and neckband headphones, to allow head protection to be worn.
As lanyards are supplied with each Tourtalk unit, the whole group can remain hands-free during to the tour.
“Cawleys purchased the Tourtalk Tour Guide System to assist in our Site MRF Tours, which is conducted in a very noisy environment. The Guides are very user-friendly, comfortable to wear and certainly provide an extra dimension to our guided tours. The guides were first used on a group of children visiting from a local Charity, and they were thrilled to be the first-time users and provided us with feedback on how we can use the guides to maximum effect. The guides were one of the most cost-effective solutions in the marketplace and we would recommend them to anybody considering such a system.”
