Two-way tour guide systems for National Gallery of Ireland

We have recently supplied digital Tourtalk TT 200 tour guide systems to the National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin.

Tour guide system to assist hard of hearing

The systems comprise of Tourtalk TT 200-T transmitters, TT 200-R receivers and TT-C25S chargers. We also supplied TT-HQP headphones and TT-NL neck loops.

The tour guides are issued with a TT 200-T transmitter and TT-SEH lightweight single earphone.

Tour guide system to assist hard of hearingThe tour guests are each issued with a Tourtalk TT 200-R receiver. As the TT 200-R receivers are HAC (Hearing Aid Compatible) the system can be used with headphones or (if the guest has a compatible hearing aid with the ‘T’ telecoil setting) neck loops, to ensure the tours are accessible to guests that are hard of hearing.

The tour guide can control the tour at the flick of a switch! They can choose between a one-way system (guide speaks to guests only) or two-way (guest can speak back to the tour guide and the rest of the tour group) making it ideal for when there any guest questions.

The tour guide can also see how many guests are connected to their transmitter in real time to make sure everybody is present.

The software (supplied with each charger) enables the programmable OLED screens on each device to be given custom names, and channels to be bulk synced within seconds to combine systems for larger groups.

Tour guide system storage case The tour guide systems needed to be extremely portable as they are used for outdoor workshops and offsite events as well as in the gallery. Therefore, the entire system can be packed into water and dust proof storage cases.
